This workshop aims to develop researchers' communication skills, with an emphasis on effectively presenting their research results to not only the professional public but also a wider audience. Participants will gain valuable skills in the use of LinkedIn for the dissemination of scientific knowledge. During the workshop, Peter Marčan will share practical experience and useful tips on how to successfully present and disseminate scientific knowledge. He will share experiences from crisis communication of scientific knowledge, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Peter Marčan has been working in the field of PR and marketing since 2008. Among other things, he covered the communication of the Slovak biotech company MultiplexDX, the largest science popularization event in Slovakia - the European Night of Science, as well as other clients working in the field of R&D and innovation. In the past, he worked as an editor for several Slovak media, including the economic weekly TREND.
