The antigens are used for the detection of antibodies against Coxiella burnetii in the blood serum samples of humans and animals by different techniques depending on the customer’s preference and include: the microagglutination reaction (MAR), the complement fixation test (CFT) the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and the indirect immunofluorescent assay (IFA).

The antigens are especially applied for the detection of elevated
levels of Coxiella burnetii phase I antibodies and thus, useful for both confirmation and therapeutic follow-up of the chronic Q fever in humans.

Coxiella burnetii / Phase 2 antigens

MAR/CFT/ELISA/IFA
The antigens are especially applied for the detection of elevated levels of Coxiella burnetii antibodies about 10 days after infection and thus, are useful for the diagnosis of acute Q fever in endemic areas.
